Coimbatore: The 16th edition of 'ISCO’22' - Intelligent Systems and Controls was held at the Karpagam Engineering College on January 11 in which participants from various countries presented their research contributions.
Karpagam College of Engineering inaugurated the 16th edition of a two-day international conference on 'Intelligent Systems and Controls (ISCO)' on January 11 in collaboration with RT DSP LAB, Oakland University, USA. Dr. Subramaniam Ganesan, Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering Dept., Oakland University, USA was the Chief Guest at the Conference. Dr. R Vasanthakumar, Chairman and Managing Trustee, Karpagam Institutions presided over the function.
The Principal of Karpagam College of Engineering, Dr. P Vijayakumar addressed the gathering and explored the conference theme of 'Transforming Impossible into Possible: The Power of an Intelligence System for Smart Global Environment' and released the conference proceedings. Dr. P Karthigaikumar, Convenor of the conference welcomed the gathering. Organizing Secretary, Dr. A Rajendran presented the conference report and Organising Secretary, Dr. V Saminathan introduced the Chief Guest.
The Chief Guest delivered his keynote speech on 'Smart Manufacturing and Industrial Internet of Things' ( IIOT). He highlighted IIOT 4.0, IIOT 5.0 and Smart Manufacturing, Cloud, Edge Computing and Communication, Modeling and Simulation, Digital Twin, Key functions of IIOT Management and Sensors in his presentation.
Participants from India and other countries presented their research contributions at the conference. The function came to an end with a note of gratitude proposed by Dr. Krishnaraj C, the Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
