Coimbatore: Orders to inspect laboratories ahead of Practical Examination for 11th and 12th class students. School and college have been closed for the past 9 months due to the lockdown. Schools are being started for 10th class, 11th class and 12th class students.
Students who are about to write the Government Public Examination are preparing Practical Exam. The school education department has ordered immediate inspection of the closed laboratories. Schools have been instructed to inspect to check the condition of the laboratories and keep them ready for the examination.
The Class 12 public examination starts on May 3and will go on until May 21. Soon, the Class 11 and Class 10 exam schedules are expected to be released. Practical examinations are scheduled to be held at the end of March and schools have been ordered to maintain laboratories as schools have not been open for more than nine months due to coronavirus infection. It is planned to give training for the practical exam in advance, as teachers will be involved in the Assembly election process. Hence principals have been instructed to check the status of laboratories in schools and submit a report regarding the same.
