TNAU: Undergraduate Admissions for 2020-21 begin

Admission process for the ten Undergraduate degree programs for the 14 Constituent Colleges and 28 Affiliated Colleges of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (2020-2021) is to be started from the First week of August, 2020 as announced by Dr. M. Kalyanasundaram, Dean (Agriculture) & Chairman (Admissions).


Admission process for the ten Undergraduate degree programs for the 14 Constituent Colleges and 28 Affiliated Colleges of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (2020-2021) is to be started from the First week of August, 2020 as announced by Dr. M. Kalyanasundaram, Dean (Agriculture) & Chairman (Admissions).

Dr. N.Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University will launch the online admission process in the First week of August, 2020. The Undergraduate degree programs being offered in Tamil Nadu Agricultural University are, B.Sc., (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc., (Hons.) Horticulture, B.Sc., (Hons.) Forestry, B.Sc., (Hons.) Food, Nutrition and Dietetics, B.Tech., (Agricultural Engineering), B.Sc., (Hons.) Sericulture, B.Tech., (FoodTechnology), B.Tech., (Biotechnology), B.Tech., (Energy and Environmental Engineering) and B.Sc.(Hons.) Agri Business Management.

One thousand six hundred (1600) seats in Constituent Colleges and three thousand and one hundred seats (3100) in Affiliated Colleges are to be filled in the 2020-21 admissions.

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University admission process of 2020-21 is completely an online process with the following stages – Online Registration and Application Filling, Rank list release, Counseling Process, Seat allotment, Certificate Verification, Sliding Process And Provisional Seat Allotment.

Candidates can register their applications online by visiting the official website www.tnauonline.in and submit all the necessary details along with application fee from the 1st week of August, 2020.

The candidates may also contact the helpline numbers 0422-6611322, 0422-6611328, 0422-6611345, 0422- 6611346 (9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on working days). Dean (Agriculture), TNAU suggested that personal visit to the University for admission related enquiry has to be avoided during this COVID-19 pandemic situation.

Admission process for the diploma courses will be intimated in due course.
