The people of the state could not expect any changes in anti-cow slaughter notification as present AIADMK Government is remote controlled by BJP at the Centre said Mutharasan, State General Secretary of Communist Party of India (CPI).
Mutharasan who is here to take part in the State Political Committee meeting of CPI, while briefing media said that it was decided to conduct 1000 meetings all over the state from June-29 to July 6. Six teams of leaders would be formed to conduct these meeting where the misgovernance at the state and Central levels would be taken to the people's forum. A big public meeting would be organized at Tiruchy on June 5 he said.
The conference has passed resolutions condemning the attack of Sitaram Yechuri at Delhi and firing incident on farmers in Madhyapradesh. While condemning the state Government for abusing the powers vested in Goondas Act he said the government should stream line the market price of sand.
“When Kerala Government has passed a resolution in the assembly condemning the anti-cow slaughter notification, TN Government has done nothing of that sort" Mutharasan noted.
