This weekend was to different for this team as volunteers of this NGO were engaged in restoring a historic Well in Sundakamuthur area.

Speaking on this Manikandan, Founder of this NGO claims that 'This Well is not only an age-old one but it has also an untold history behind it. When our team of volunteers scrutinised the possibilities of the restoring the Well, we were appalled to find some amazing artifacts like scriptures and sculptures which dates back to several centuries. We will be in insisting the Archealogical Department to probe the site and reveal the factuals behind the Well.

Using the plastics that were collected at the Senkulam lake bund, a wall will be built around the Well. For which, Five JCB's and two tipper lorries have been deployed. And, tomorrow, 5th June, being 'World environment day' our NGO plans to host street plays and dramas in the intent of instilling a sense of preserving nature and also to remind the responsibility vested upon each one of us to protect our Universe' Manikandan said.
