Department of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) sleuths have arrested Vijay Padmanath, clerk working in the Central Zone office of the City Corporation.
Vijay Padmanath, who is working in the engineering section has demanded graft to one Damodaran, of Thompampatti who had applied for the patta of his property.
Acting on a complaint given by Damodaran, the DAVC sleuths laid a trap and arrested the clerk when he was accepting the bribe from Damodaran.
