The 6th graduation ceremony for KPR Mills employees held

KPR Mills limited has proudly conducted the 6th graduation ceremony at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology on January 7.



Employees were honored with graduation certificates for various undergraduate and post graduate disciplines. 20,000 women employees work in different units of KPR Mills (Neelambur, Arasur, Karumathampatti, and Thekkalur) from various parts of Tamilnadu.

KPR management help the school and college dropouts continue their education by providing various facilities and assist them in pursuing the degree. 15 University rank holders including Meenakshi and Pushpa (Gold medal) in BBA and Jegajyothi and Jeyapradha (gold medal) in BCA were awarded.

The Graduation ceremony was presided over by the Chairman of KPR Groups, Shri. K P Ramasamy and the fraternity were welcomed by the Executive Director C.R. Ananda Krishnan, Dr.Baskaran, Vice-chancellor of Tamilnadu Open University in his presidential address highly motivated the employees to have aspirations and goals for the successful career. Dr.S.V. Balasubramaniam the Head, Bannariamman Groups Shri T.E. Manavalan, Publisher of Vikatan groups, Smt. Shyamala Ramesh Babu, Founder Chisel & Evolve were also present.

Since 2006, KPR Management is highly involved in aiding the employees pursue 10th, 12th, UG and PG programs.  Every Graduation ceremony is conducted with the motive of benefitting the employees by awarding the best performers with the cash prize of 1 lakh rupees, 50,000 and 10,000.

The Graduation ceremony ended with the speech by the Executive Director Shri. E.K. Shakthivel by sharing his gratitude towards the KPR Management for successfully helping the women employees becoming graduates.
