Coimbatore: Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Katta Ravi Theja IAS conducted a ground-level inspection of residential areas located near the waste dump site in Vellalur, which falls under the South Zone of the Corporation. During this visit, the Commissioner directly interacted with residents to ascertain whether they had any complaints or concerns regarding the waste dump facility.

The Commissioner personally observed the living conditions of people residing near the waste dump and carefully listened to their grievances and feedback. He conducted a detailed examination of issues including foul odor emanating from the dump, sanitation problems, and other related concerns affecting the quality of life of local residents.
The inspection was conducted in the presence of several key officials including Corporation Welfare Officer Dr Subash Gandhi, Zonal Health Officer Andiyappan, Assistant Engineer Sandeep Kumar, Health Inspector Balakumar, and various other departmental officers from the Corporation.
