Coimbatore, January 8
'Wonder Women’ forum in association with World Wide Fund (WWF) and Kovai Green League had organized a workshop on 'Working with tribal community', at Brookefields mall on Sunday.
The workshop cum interactive session was organised to create awareness and knowledge on the life of tribal community people who live in harsh environmental conditions in the forest. Stefan Ajay, Project Coordinator in WWF addressed the gathering on ways to uplift the socioeconomic status of tribal people. He also shared his working experience and WWF's role in empowering people from tribal community.
More than 20 women from the wonder women forum participated in the session.
