Coimbatore is the official home ground for the CCFC Team for the next five years. But what can bring more joy to football fans than having the fan club which brings them closer to the players?
On Saturday (December 23), Soosai Raj, captain and Edwin Sydney, vice-captain of the CCFC team inaugurated the fan club at Hotel Murugan here. Initiated by Mr Sabarish Ramesh, an ardent fan, currently, the fan club has more than 700 members who were present at the stadium to cheer the players. The aim of the club is to promote the game throughout the city and invite more active footballers to join the fan club and support the team.
At the fan club meet, Soosai Raj exchanged jerseys with fans, shared his personal likes and preferences apart from sharing green room stories.
