Coimbatore, December 25
A one-day programme highlighting the issues faced by the women workers in the textile industry was organised here under the auspices of Centre for Social Education and Development, and Coimbatore Women Advocates Association.
The day-to-day issues faced by women workforce in the textile sector including ginning and spinning mills like labour rights, wage anomalies and other issues, were discussed at the seminar.

C. Nambi, Executive Director of Centre for Social Education and Development, and R. Thenmozhi, Joint Secretary of Coimbatore Women Advocates Association, took part and enlightened the 50-odd participants.
