Coimbatore: The much-awaited General Elections 2024 for the Coimbatore Parliamentary Constituency have come to an end, with a final voter turnout recorded at 64.42%. Among the assembly constituencies, Sulur reported the highest turnout with an impressive 75.33%, signifying robust participation.

The election day unfolded smoothly with voters across genders and demographics coming forth to cast their ballots. Starting with an initial 9.38% in the early hours, the turnout saw a steady increase throughout the day, culminating in over half the electorate participating by the close of polls. The final percentage marks a substantial engagement from the citizens of Coimbatore in the democratic process.



With the closing of the polls, the focus now shifts to the counting of votes and the subsequent results that will determine the future political landscape of the Coimbatore constituency.
