Photo Exhibition on Tamil Nadu Government's Achievements to be Held in Coimbatore

Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati announced a photo exhibition titled "Government Achievements and Welfare Schemes" to raise public awareness. Scheduled from March 10, 2024, at Gandhipuram Town Bus Stand, it will feature various governmental initiatives.


Coimbatore: A week-long photo exhibition and awareness art programs highlighting the Tamil Nadu Government's achievements and welfare schemes will commence on March 10, 2024, at the Gandhipuram Town Bus Stand, announced Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati today (March 8).

Titled "Government Achievements and Welfare Schemes," the exhibition aims to enlighten the public about the successful initiatives and projects undertaken during the tenure of the Honorable Chief Minister and the former Chief Minister, Muthamizh Arignar Kalaignar. The display will be open daily from 9 AM to 8 PM, showcasing the government's efforts in various fields such as women's rights, healthcare, education, and public welfare.

Key features of the exhibition include photographs from events attended by the Honorable Chief Minister, special projects like Kalaignar's Women's Rights Scheme, Makkaludan Mudhalvar, Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam, Illam Thedi Kalvi, and many others. Additionally, a section dedicated to women's empowerment schemes will display handicrafts by women's self-help groups, alongside a medical camp organized by the public health department.

The inauguration of this insightful exhibition will be conducted by the Minister of Housing and Urban Development at 6 PM on March 10, 2024, at Gandhipuram Town Bus Stand. Distinguished guests, including the District Collector, the Honorable City Mayor, Members of Parliament, Assembly Members, Municipal Commissioner, and representatives of local bodies, are expected to attend the event.

The public is cordially invited to visit the exhibition to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Tamil Nadu Government's contributions towards societal development and welfare.
