SFI-DIFY-AIDWA Protest Against Ongoing Sexual Violence on Women in Coimbatore

SFI-DIFY-AIDWA staged a protest in front of the Coimbatore District Collector's office, demanding an end to sexual violence against children, students, and women in the city.


Coimbatore: The Coimbatore district committees of SFI-DIFY-AIDWA organized a protest demonstration in front of the District Collector's office, urging immediate action to stop the ongoing sexual violence against children, female students, and women in Coimbatore.



The protest emphasized several key demands, including the prevention of sexual violence against children, students, and women in Coimbatore.



The demonstrators called for the immediate establishment of Internal Complaints Committees (ICC) in schools and colleges. They also stressed the need for increasing awareness classes in educational institutions to address these issues.



More than 30 members from SFI-DIFY-AIDWA participated in the demonstration. Protesters held banners and raised slogans to emphasize their demands, drawing attention to the urgent need for action against sexual violence in the city.



The demonstration highlighted the growing concern over the safety of women and children in Coimbatore and the need for concrete steps to address this issue. The organizers hope that their protest will lead to swift action from the authorities to implement measures that ensure the safety and security of vulnerable groups in the city.
