A large number of students from different parts of Coimbatore district participated in the Prime Minister's National Apprenticeship Training (PM NAM) admissions held on behalf of the Government of India to create employment opportunities for the youth at the Government Industrial Training Institute for Women at Thudiyalur.
COIMBATORE: The admission process for the Prime Minister's Apprenticeship Training Camp in Coimbatore district is going on in full swing.
Prime Minister's National Apprenticeship Training (PM NAM) student admission camp was organized by the Government of India today at the Government Industrial Training Institute for Women at Thudiyalur, Coimbatore to create employment opportunities for the youth.
A large number of youth from coimbatore, pollachi, karamadai, mettupalayam and other areas participated in the event. Various industries are participating in this camp and recruiting qualified youth for employment.
In today's camp, 25 companies, including the National Air Force, participated and selected the youth and students as apprentices for various vacant posts in their institutions.
The camp was organized to create employment opportunities for the youth who have completed ITI. Apart from this, those who have completed 10th and 10th standard are also given training in combat.
Valarmathi, assistant director of Coimbatore district skill training office, said 25 companies are participating in the camp and recruiting staff for about 800 vacant posts.
