Tamilisai says BJP is trying to ban PETA in India and everyone should protest for banning PETA

When speaking to the press at the Coimbatore airport Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Tamilisai Soundararajan said, “It is shocking that the Supreme Court rescheduled the judgement on the Jallikattu case when everyone was expecting a judgement in favour of Jalliakattu. Jallikattu was banned during the rule of Congress party in the centre in 2012 when Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) was in alliance with the congress party. DMK and other who were in alliance with congress during the ban of Jallikattu do not have moral right to criticise Prime Minister about the conduct of Jallikattu.” she said.

“The central government is cautious about the conduct of Jallikattu, as an ordinance may lead to a total ban of Jallikattu by the Supreme Court. The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has no rights to seek the dismissal of the Tamil Nadu government if Jallikattu is conducted in the state.” Tamilisai Soundararajan said

She also added that everyone should protest seeking a ban on PETA organisation which was the reason for implementing a ban on Jallikattu. BJP will take efforts in this regard she said. It is not right seeking the resignation of Pon Radhakrishnan for failing to conduct Jallikattu. Central government is not cheating the Tamil people with regards to Jallikattu. BJP is second to none in fighting for the cause of Tamils she said.
