The members of the Social justice party today held a protest in front of the Coimbatore South Zone Thasildar office demanding the recovery of Panchami land located in Poondi in Siruvani road and Palakkad road.
The party’s president Pannerselvam when speaking to the press said, “Private entities like Karunya, Isha, Amirtha and Suzlon have encroached the lands that was given to the tribal people by the government. This has to be stopped and action should be taken against the encroachers.” he said.
More than 20 members of the party participated in the protest and raised slogans against the private entities.
