Coimbatore: Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabhakaran today conducted a direct inspection of drinking water supply operations in the Koundampalayam area located in Ward No. 33 of the West Zone.
The overhead water tank located in the Koundampalayam area has been supplying drinking water to the public at regular intervals. The Commissioner personally visited the facility to inspect and review these distribution operations.
During the inspection, a detailed review was conducted on the functioning of the overhead tank, the water supply schedule, quality of water being distributed, and whether the public is receiving water supply in a consistent manner.
Assistant Engineer Rajesh Venugopal and other Corporation officials accompanied the Commissioner during this inspection. The Commissioner directed the officials to immediately address any deficiencies found in the drinking water supply system.
