Nanjappan from Nehru Nagar near Kalaptti Coimbatore has filed a petition with the Coimbatore police commissioner alleging that the Kovai Medical Centre and Hospital (KMCH) management is trying to encroach his land.
When speaking to the press Nanjappan said, “I bought 68 cents of lands which is located behind the NGP College. KMCH constructed a compound wall near our land. The compound wall was constructed encroaching 10 cents of my land. Following a petition, a court gave orders to stop the construction of the compound.”
“An undertaking was obtained from the people who were involved in the construction by the police. But now, KMCH has again started the work on the compound wall. They abused my wife Saraswathi when she tried to stop them and also threatened to kill me. Dhandapani, Sivakumar and Nallathambi who work for KMCH should be stopped encroaching the land.” he said.
