Case on Arjun Sampath for unlawful gathering at Collectorate to celebrate PM's announcement.


A case has been filed by the Police on Hindu Makkal Katchi leader, Arjun Sampath for celebrating the announcement invalidating some denominations of Indian currency by Prime Minister Modi. 

Yesterday, Arjun Sampath along with few members of the party celebrated the announcement by bursting crackers in front of the Coimbatore collector's office. Members of this party also distributed sweets to the public and exhibited their joy for PM's announcement. In this connection, the Racecourse police have registered a case on Arjun Sampath under two sections for unlawfully gathering in front of collector's office and mishandling combustible materials. Reacting to this, Arjun Sampath has said that he will face the charges against him as per the law.
