'Eera Nenjam' lit the hearts of the homeless this diwali!

Coimbatore-based NGO 'Eera Nenjam Trust' has been a light in the dark lives of the homeless. The trust through their tireless dedication to support the needs of the homeless in our city has lit the lives of many homeless people, mostly senior citizens. Today, the founder and members of this trust along with a few volunteers celebrated Diwali with the homeless.

New clothes and sweets were distributed to the homeless in various parts of our city. Today, a few volunteers of this trust visited the homeless and gave them a clean shave and a haircut too.

Speaking to SimiliCity, Mahendran shares “We are fortunate to celebrate this festival with our near and dear ones. Spare a thought for the homeless. With the aim lighting up their face with a smile we celebrated the festival of lights with them.”
