'Amma Cricket Tournament 2016' a jubiliant cricket tournament for the public


AIADMK party hosted 'Amma Koppai 2016' a Cricket Tournament for students at the Marudhamalai Subramaniasamy Hr.Sec. School at Vadavalli to mark the party's 44th year in Politics.

The three-day Cricket tournament was flagged off on 29th July by SP Velumani, Minister of Municipal administration & Rural development.

Totally 64 teams participated in the open tournament and all the matches were knockout matches with 6 overs each.



Winning teams will be lauded with trophies and cash prizes. The first prize will be Rs.50,000/- cash and a trophy, Second prize Rs.25,000/- with trophy, third prize will be Rs.10,000 cash and trophy and fourth prize is Rs.5000/- cash and trophy.

The event was a gala with live commentaries, music, and lights. Students, Children, and the public thoroughly enjoyed the event.
