New art studio launched in Coimbatore

Coimbatore, Dec. 4

For the art lovers here, a new arts studio named 'Simply Arts Studio' to teach pottery and sculpting has been launched.

A release from the studio states that it would teach adults and kids to make pottery, sculpting, Tanjore paintings and sketching.

Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Dhinakar Perumal, Founder of the Studio says - "With current generations of kids (and their parents too) remaining engaged with their gadgets all the time, 'art' would be a great way to bring them back from machine to human mode. Sadly, the avenues for learning art forms like pottery and scultping are next to nil. There is not a single ceramics studio in Coimbatore. So I dreamt of opening a studio in Coimbatore and am learning pottery in my own studio".

Details of the classes:

Pottery Wheels: Pottery classes are provided for beginners and kids too. The classes start with basic introduction to pot making in wheels, shaping and trimming, hand building and glazing.

Sculpture: Sculpting classes introduces to basic sculpting techniques like shape building, individual anatomy, basic murals and more.
