A milch cow which was grazing near an electrical transformer was electrocuted near Panaimarathupatti.
The cow, which was grazing near the transformer had died due to e power leakage in the transformer and the wires connecting it. The cow was owned by cattle farmers Manoharan and Selvi who supplied milk to the area.
The villagers argued with the TANGEDCO staff who rushed to the spot and demanded that proper repair of electrical lines and transformers during monthly maintenance shut downs.
