Over 15 passengers of Alandurai who were transported in an open van sustained injuries when it rammed truck near Palathurai near Madukkarai. The van skidded off the road and came to a halt.
The villagers were travelling to Kinathukadavu to attend the obsequies of a dead relative.
Madukkarai police are investigating.
