S.P. Velumani supporters burn effigy of TTV Dinakaran in two places, slipper his portrait

Condemning against the removal of S.P Velumani, Minister for Rural Development from the party post of AIADMK District secretary (Rural) by TTV Dinakaran, his supporters burnt an effigy of the latter and slippered his portrait in public at two places including flower market and Kuniamuthur.

TTV Dinakaran, the side lined Deputy General secretary of AIADMK is locked in a bitter power struggle with the Chief minister Edapadi Palanisamy and his supporters and as a fall out of this, removing his supporters from party posts they held since the days of erst while chief minister Jayalalithaa.

The supporters of SP Velumani has also risen against the suspension move by TTV Dinakaran, nephew of jailed V.K. Sasikala, and staging protests in various parts of the district.
