Creativity at it's best at Pixel Perfect Photography Contest organised by ArtHouz.


To celebrate World Photography Day, the Art Houz gallery in association with Poloidal organized a National level photography competition for adults titled "Pixel Perfect". 



"Water"was the theme announced for the contest. Applicants from various parts of the Nation including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Gujarat, Haryana, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Rajasthan, Bihar, Ghaziabad, Goa, Uttar Pradesh  etc. applied for the Pixel contest.



D Srinivasan, K Jayaram and Gayathri Devi ace photographers formed the jury for the contest. Out of the 23 entries received, the judges scrutinised the photographs based on various criterions and announced the winners.



Aparna Vasanthkumar's "The Beach" won the first prize, Bavesh Kumar Raval from Gujarat won the second prize for his beautiful portrait on "Life at the edge" and J.Jackson from Coimbatore won the third prize for his mesmerising portrait of a waterfall titled "Sight to behold".



‘We have received a good response from all over India for this event and photographers have visualized the theme of water in very creative ways. The purpose of the event was to create a platform for all these talented photographers who are from various parts to exhibit their talent", said Vincent Adaikalraj, CMD Art Houz who also owns a Camera Museum at Thunder World Ooty, that houses a collection of more than 2500 cameras.



Ponsana David, CEO & Founder of POLOiDAL supported this first of it's kind initiative in Coimbatore by giving away cash awards for the first three winners. The event is also supported by iPlanet who awarded five consolation prizes.



The shortlisted 23 entries along with the winners photographs will be on display at the Art Houz gallery on 25 August, 2017.
