Police flag march taken out in Ooty in view of the Vinayakar charthuthi


A Police flag march was taken out in Ooty in view of the Vinayakar charthuthi celebratrated tomorrow in the hill town of Ooty.



Led by Murali Ramba, Superintendent of Police, over 500 police men took part in the flag march which is being aimed at assuring public safety and police preparedness to avoid any communal flare up in the hill town of Ooty.

The Vinayakar idols which is to be sanctified in the town would be immersed after taken in procession through the town streets in Kamarajar dam.
