Two died on the spot and two others sustained serious injuries when two trucks collided head on near Madukkarai.
According to police, a sand laden lorry collided with another sewage tanker in which the drivers of the both the vehicles died on the spot. The two cleaners were admitted in Government medical college hospital for treatment.
The deceased are identified as Thiagarajan (38) and Chandrakumar (37) of Pachanpalayam.
