District Collector T.N.Hariharan distributed Point of Sale (PoS) machines to 139 Primary Cooperative Agricultural Bank fertilizer units, in the district to facilitate digital mode of payment by farmers.
Subsidized fertilizer bags are being sold to the farmers through Primary Cooperative Agricultural Bank fertilizer godowns, in every village in the district
"193 POS machines for digital transactions have been already supplied to private fertilieser shop through SPIC and now the government fertilizer godowns are being covered for digital mode of payment" the collector said..
