Speaking at the Makkal medai, a platform for secular forces and political parties organised in the city, , Thirumavalavan said that the BJP and RSS have a divisive agenda who want to divide the voters on the lines of caste, creed and religion.
While castigating the RSS, the Hindu outfit he said that RSS is out to secure its constituency on the basis of dividing the nation as Hindu and non –Hindu voters which is inimical for the secular fabric of the nation.
