MP PR Sundaram alleges medical negligence for death of kin.


Alleging that medical negligence on the part of a private hospital has led to the sudden death of a kin, P.R Sundaram MP (Namakkal Parliamentary constituency) said that he would file a police complaint with regard to the untimely death of his nephew after being admitted in a city hospital.



Ravichandran, of Namagiripettai, a nephew of Sundaram was admitted to Ortho One, a private clinic for a surgery in his hand. It is reported that after surgery the patient was declared dead due to alleged medical complications. 

Alleging that the overdose of anesthesia administrated to the patient during surgery has led to his sudden death, MP P.R. Sundaram said that he would submit a petition to Commissioner of Police seeking action against the private orthopaedic hospital.
