It would not augur well for AIADMK and the people of Tamilnadu to join hands with the BJP, which have a communal agenda and is a communal party said Prakash Karat, CPM Politburo member.
Briefing the media, Prakash Karat who is on a visit to the city to participate in Makkal media programme said that the merger of rival factions of AIADMK is political opportunism and BJP is behind the merger.
"The people of Tamilnadu would reject this political alliance between BJP and AIADMK in the future elections", Prakash Karat said.
