Aam Aadmi Party petitions Collector to nullify the appointment of CEO of Smart City Project


The District unit of Aam Aadmi Party has petitioned District Collector T.N.Hariharan to nullify the appointment of R.Sukanya, as Chief Executive Officer of Smart City Project and investigate the irregularities in the appointing an inexperienced person for the responsible position of CEO for the multi crore city modernization project.



S.Akbar, District Coordinator of Aam Aadmi Party in his petition has stated that it is vital to appoint an experienced person as the CEO to implement the Smart City Project without any anomalies and corruption.

The petitioner said Sukanya, daughter of K.P.Raju, a former AIADMK MLA with little experience in public governance was appointed as CEO on August 11, which is a mockery of fair practices.
