The beautification of the frontage of the Race Course in Ooty and the adjoining walls were adorned with paintings have been admired by the tourists and towns men of Ooty.
Thanks to measures expedited by Nilgiris District Collector Innocent Divya the famous race course facade in the hill town in given a facelift.
Threading to the public demand, the collector who inspected the frontage and the surrounding areas which was stinking with bad odor due to an overflowing sewer ordered the facelift by the Ooty Municipality, following which works were expedited and the new look given to the whole facade and walls.
Beautiful wall paintings adorn the walls depicting the beauty of Ooty, the Queen of Hills and the tourists spots which is eye catching to the tourists, who throng the hill town all around the years from the different parts of the world.
