Sivachandran alias Siva was arrested by the Police in Vadavalli area who upon interrogation came to know that he has been involved in several car thefts and burglary, in recent times.
In the recent past, the police have recorded several car theft cases in Vadavalli area. Even last week, Senthilkumar a resident of Vadavalli was assaulted at Knife point by some miscreants who snatched his belongings and fled away. A complaint was lodged by Senthilkumar at the Vadavalli police station.
Yesterday, during the routine vehicle checking, the police stopped a man who was en-route to Vadavalli. As the person did not possess his vehicle documents, the police interrogated him about his whereabouts. His dubious answers caused suspicion to the cops who seized his car and presented him to the Vadavalli police station for further interrogation.
On investigation, the police identified the man as Sivachandran and that he has been involved in several robberies mainly Cars and burglary who also has previous crime record, as well. The police rescued 23 cars from Siva along with 21 sovereign of gold.
The expert car thief, Siva was produced to judicial custody and was remanded.
