Public demonstrate sit-in-protest demanding closure of new tasmac outlet.

Residents of the Eachanari Privu area demonstrated an unprecedented protest condemning the administration for opening a new tasmac outlet in their area.

The public who took part in the protest alleged that "Despite petitioning the concerned officials several times, it's highly disappointing that the officials have paid no heed to our requests instead gone ahead to open the tasmac outlet in such a crowded area".

They also announced that until the officials seal the new tasmac outlet they would stage such unprecedented protests. They also demanded that the concerned officials who are responsible for approving this tasmac outlet should give explanation as to on what basis approval for this outlet was given.

Close to an hour, the traffic came to a stand still in Madukkarai, Sundarapuram and Eachanari areas.
