17th edition of Connect Coimbatore inaugurated

CII Coimbatore zone organized the 17th edition of Connect Coimbatore in Coimbatore here today.

The conference which focused on the theme “Building Intelligent Enterprises” emphasized the importance of building intelligent enterprises in the largely manufacturing setup of this region towards bringing in higher operational efficiency and productivity.

Delivering the Chief Guest address Mr.Krishnakumar Natarajan, Executive Chairman, Mind tree Ltd said “The future belongs to the Intelligent Enterprise. Enterprises should harness disruptive technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud, so as not only to survive but also to thrive”. He added that the technology is the driver and differentiator but not a cost center. He also released a “Ready Reckoner to Cyber Security” for individuals during the event.

Delivering the Inaugural Address, Mr.S.Narayanan, Chairman, and CII Coimbatore Zone said that the event serves as a platform for understanding and adoption of the new technology developments & best practices worldwide.

Mr.Sriram T V, Vice President & Centre Head, Robert Bosch Engineering & Business Solutions delivered the keynote address and Mr.B.Jayamurali, CEO - Business Support Services, KG Information Systems Pvt Ltd delivered the vote of thanks during the Inaugural of the conference.

The conference had sessions on Artificial Intelligence, Advantage Coimbatore and how to keep business safe and had speakers from leading industries like Microsoft Corporation (India) Pvt Ltd, Amazon Internet Services Pvt Ltd, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Robert Bosch Engineering & Business Solutions etc.

200 industry members from across the region participated in the conference.
