Farmers given interest waivers and extension of loan period on crop loans- District Collector T.N.Hariharan

Tamilnadu Government has effected interest waivers, extension of payback period on various crop loans availed the farming community in the District.

The state has been declared as a drought hit one in January 2017 and the Government has taken measures to alleviate the lot of farmers who are affected by drought conditions.

"The farmers in the Districts are asked to approach the respective banks to avail the benefits before August 31", District Collector T.N.Hariharan said.
