State Election commissioner M.Malik Feroz Khan convened a review meeting here in view of the forthcoming Municpal and local bodies poll.
The Election Commissioner advised the officials to carry out repairs of poll booths in the corporation limits and wanted officials to take prompt action on petitions received from the public.
Later Malik Feroz khan inspected the EVMs stored in the Amaniammal higher secondary school, and at a community hall at Pallapalayam.
Officials of City Corporation , Revenue and Rural development took part in the meeting.
