Members of Nadiagar Thilagam Sivaji Fans Association observed a token fast here urging the Government reinstall the statue of the actor in Marina promenade itself.
Led by Chandrasekhar, President of Sivaji Samuganala Peravai, the fans urged that the actor’s statute which was removed from the roundtanta in Kamarajar Salai in Chennai should be restored in the Marina itself along with other leaders.
The fans objected to the relocation of the statue to Sivaji mandimandapam but insisted on the restoring the statue to its original place.
