The one man inquiry commission probing the violence in Pro Jallikattu struggle which was witnessed all over Tamilnadu in January last would submit its final report after 7 months.

Justice S.Rajeshawaran, a retired Madras High court judge, who is heading the inquiry commission who visited Coimbatore to conduct the probe said that the commission has only started its field visits and probe in June 7, and inquiries have been conducted in Madurai and Alanganallur and other places.
So far 1949 persons have testified in front of the commission and 51 youth would testify before the commission and have submitted their affidavits. While 29 have submitted their affidavits in support of police action to disperse the unruly crowd, 15 persons have condemned the police action on the protesting youth in VOC grounds, Gandhipuram and other areas.
7 Police personnel have also submitted their affidavits defending their action.
In the first phase 20 probe would be conducted with 20 youth affected by the police action and in the second phase another 31 persons would testify before the commission.
A through probe would be conducted on torching of autos and hutments and police action in ice house areas Rajeshwaran said.
