18 sovereign of gold stolen from a residence in Peelamedu.

Following the long weekend, bugglers broke into the residence of Meenakshi Sundaram and Sri Akila in Gandhi Maanagar and robbed close to 18 sovereign of gold.

On 13th August, the couple left to their relative's house to spend their holidays. This morning, the couple returned home and were shell-shocked to notice their front door barged. 

Later they learnt that close to 18 sovereign of gold had gone missing. The couple have lodged a complaint with the Peelamedu Police who have started their preliminary investigation.
