71st Independence Day was celebrated in Isha Yoga Centre at Malaivaasal near 112ft Adi Yogi. Director of Farmers Producers Organization.

“In this great nation of Bharat, since Independence many great things have been achieved. In the last 70 years our businesses have grown, industry has grown, our scientists have done remarkable achievements on the land and in the space. And above all the life expectancy of an average Indian has gone up phenomenally. But of all these things the most significant achievement for this nation is our poor farmer with very minimal infrastructure has managed to provide food for over a billion people out of sheer traditional knowledge, but you do fast depleting soil and water resources. Our farmer’s life is being pushed to a corner and made more and more difficult. On this day it is time that all of us take a commitment to save the rivers of this nation, to save the water and soil of this nation. Let’s 'Rally for Rivers'".
