As many as 26 patients have been undergoing treatment at Coimbatore Medical College Hospital for dengue fever and another 158 patients have been admitted there with seasonal flu.
A 68-year old woman Maria Josephine of Sundarapuram, who was admitted with fever has been diagnosed with swine flu after swab test conducted on her.
The dengue and swine flu patients have been quarantined in separate wards and kept under close to prevent infection to spread to other patients.
