TNAU to celebrate World Honey Bee day on August 18


World Honey Bee day will be celebrated at TNAU on August 18 with the support of National Bee Board, GOI, New Delhi.

Stalls will be arranged with different types of honey, bee hives, and beekeeping equipment by progressive beekeepers from all over Tamil Nadu, besides the student’s exhibition and cultural programmes.

Farmers and public are encouraged to participate in the celebration, interact with scientists, students and beekeepers and get benefitted. Timings: 9 am to 5 pm. There will be no entry fee.
