This morning, a 82-year-old elderly person, Subramaniam hailing from Kaikolapalayam, Kalapatti died due to cardiac arrest at his residence. While the entire family was struck in grief and mourning for his death, Gopalakrishnan son of the deceased who was also amidst the grief, stayed strong and decided to donate his father’s organs to the needy.
Gopalakrishnan who is the Treasurer at PUCL wasted no time in taking the big and noble decision. He rushed his father’s body to the Coimbatore General Hospital for harvesting the organs.
