A free Eye Checkup and Treatment camp is to be conducted by Aravind Eye Hospital and Isha Outreach in collaboration in association with Chola Group of Companies on August 13.
The camp would function from 8 AM to 1 PM at the Community Hall in Devarayapuram village near Velliangiri Foothills.
Those who are diagnosed for cataract surgery will be taken to Aravind Eye Hospital in the city. The beneficiaries will avail the treatment, transport, and accommodation free of cost.
Good quality spectacles will also be offered to those in need at a very cheap cost.
Visitors to the camp are required to provide identity proof (Adhaar card or voter's id) at the venue.
