13th Vintage car rally in Ooty attracts participants from all the Southern States.

District collector (Nilgiris) Innocent Divya flagged off the 13th vintage car rally in the tourist town of Ooty, in which vintage cars hailing from all parts of the Southern states took part in rally and captured the imagination of the people.



Among the vintage cars the 1931 - make Dodge Brother Company, an American made older version of the caravan has caught the attention of all. Like in a caravan, there are separate areas for living, bath, dining in the camp vehicle.



"Displaying vintage cars in the portico as show pieces by car owners is pass, and now the  vinatage car owners from Kanyakumari, Kerala, Bangalore and Karaikudi have come all the way driving to participate in the rally, which evoked good response from the specatators” said Rajnikanth, District President of Vintage Car owners Association.
