Cyber Crime Police arrest real estate agent for spreading mischievous rumour in Social media.

City Cyber Crime Cell police arrested Mansur Ali of Ukkadam, a real estate agent on charges of spreading mischievous rumour about one of his clients in social media.

Mansur Ali, had started a bogus face book page in the name of actor Kamala Hassan and spread a mischievous rumour about Ravi, a medical shop owner of Kuniamuthur. The culprit has created a face book post saying that Ravi has lost his life in a road accident and the whereabouts of his young daughter is not traceable.

The shocked relatives, who came across the post rushed to Ravi’s house and found out about the mischief mongering in social media by the miscreant.

Following a complaint by Ravi, the affected person, Police arrested Mansur Ali, a real estate broker it is learn that the Mansur Ali had a quarrel with regard to broker commission given to him.
